Welcome to Musing of a Homemaker! My name is Anna McMullen and I am so glad you dropped by. I am married to my middle school sweetheart and a mom to 2 wonderful adult age children. Our family has been in full time ministry for the past 18 years and we have learned how to Live Life Abundantly on a Shoestring Budget I have always tried to be honest with our children about our resources and that we are not overflowing with monetary wealth but above that I have shrived to show them that you can still enjoy life to the fullest and not be financially wealthy.
Many things that my children remember is not what we bought but how we enjoyed what we did get to buy. Not having two or three game systems but having one and getting it at the best deal we could to be able to have multiple games to play on it.
Come along with me as I share with you ways that you too can be a homemaker and Live Life Abundantly on a Shoestring Budget and not feel guilty or stressed about not keeping up with the “Jones”.
I look forward to talking with you.
Meet my family!
Jordan, far left. My firey red head that is going to have the world by it’s tail and always planning the next great adventure. She just returned from Uganda in which she was there for a year. She loves that country and what is awesome, our soon to be son in law is coming from Uganda. She makes my life fun and full of uncertainty which is awesome. Her love language is sometimes words of affirmation and then sometimes acts of service. I love it when I can serve her and it be something that puts a smile on her face.
Gregg, third from left. My rock, my middle school sweetheart, my encourager, my hero that points me to our hero, Jesus Christ. He loves to play games, sit and sip coffee and have a good conversation, my introvert that could hibernate for days reading and playing games.
Ryne- Far right. My timid, soft spoken, tender hearted buddy. He is a joy to watch as he has grown so much over the past 4 years in college. He has found his passions and is living them out. He is a WKU Hilltopper that loves his friends and the memories that he has made. His love language is quality time and I enjoy it when I get to spend that quality time with him.
