Different DIYs to affirm your husband
You’re a Blessing Jar: Take a mason jar or a clear jar with some sort of lid. Wrap a pretty but not feminine ribbon around the neck of the jar. Fill the jar with words or sentences about your husband. Make it funny, personal, romantic, as well as descriptive of ways you love you husband.
Create a Subway art picture with words of affirmation. This is a popular art that people like to hang in their homes. Make one personal for your husband. You can make this is Word or Publisher or probably any other compatible program such as these two. Print it out on nice cardstock or bright white paper and frame it. This can go to his office or in the bathroom to remind him daily how loved he is. Let me share with you an example of a subway art print.
Scheduled emails throughout the day. You can schedule emails to be sent to your husband throughout the day from you. Gmail has a great tool called boomerang. It is an app that you add to your account to be able to schedule emails to be sent out. It is an awesome tool. Spend a few days creating emails to be sent out through the day to your husband. It would be best to make the emails but short but filled with words that tell him how much you love and respect him. This is something that he can keep in his inbox and read over and over, even when he is away.
52 Reasons I love You: This is an oldie but a goodie. Take an old deck of cards and write down 52 ways you love him. Here is a great tutorial on how to put that all together from Paper Vine.
Invest in your future!
I tell young married couples all the time, invest in the future. Your future is with your husband. While loving your children, raising your children, you need to love them too and be able to release them when it is time for them to leave the nest. Your husband is going to remain. So this is where your biggest investment should be. Spend some time and make this Valentine’s day special for the one that will remain.
